We are currently looking to engage an experienced Strategic Asset Manager - ideally based in Karratha or surrounds but Perth-based, with site travel can be considered - to lead the procurement and full lifecycle management of our mobile plant fleet, consisting of over 150 critical assets.
Open to Full-time or Casual engagement, depending on your preference.
Reporting to the COO, this role will combine technical leadership, commercial asset strategy and operational support to ensure the safe and cost-effective strategic management of our fleet.

Key functions of the role
* Lead and optimise the performance of a 150+ items of our current and future mobile plant fleet, including;
* Crushing and screening Equipment
* Civil and bulk earthmoving equipment
* LV's and Electric vehicles
* Lead commercial cost analysis for the purchase of new fleet items
* Reduce breakdowns through strong data management from reliability and condition monitoring practices
* Manage budgets, forecasting, repairs, and whole-of-life cost planning
* Support site operations with technical troubleshooting and rapid decision-making
* Build strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and client representatives
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
What will set you up for success
* Experience in the strategic management of fleets of 100+ pieces of plant in mining or civil contracting
* Strong commercial acumen and mechanical understanding of mobile crushing, heavy earthmoving and ancillary equipment
* Experience in maintenance planning, asset management systems, and cost control
* Proven leadership capability with the ability to build accountable teams
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and commercial awareness
* A safety-first approach and commitment to operational excellence
* Mechanical trade qualification or a mechanical/engineering background is highly regarded
