Your New Role
The purpose of the Business Risk Manager role is to provide risk guidance and advice to enable the safe delivery and realization of Member Engagement, Education and Advice (MEEA) divisions strategic plans.
The role ensures that Aware Super maintains a robust approach to identifying and managing delivered risks that may have a material impact on MEEA's divisional risk profile and to ensure that these risks are managed appropriately in accordance with the enterprise risk management framework and risk appetite. The role will also coordinate and prepare the timely responses to regulatory notices and matters that impact the MEEA division.
* Providing risk advice and guidance to the business and delivery teams to identify assess and manage operational risks and regulatory obligations;
* Working with the Assurance team to ensure that all reportable situations and matters that are assessed as voluntary disclosure to a regulator, are reported to the relevant regulator in the required timeframes;
* Coordinating and prepare draft responses to regulatory notices, matters, reports and provide subject matter expertise on industry practices and standards to enable an effective regulatory engagement program; and
* Managing the risk forum to assess business performance against key risks and monitor action plans to address areas where risks are operating outside of agreed appetite,
