MEP Quantity Surveyor Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented MEP quantity surveyor to join our team in Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and cost plans for MEP packages throughout the design and construction phases
* Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements using tools such as CostX or similar
* Assist in the preparation and review of bills of quantities (BoQs) and tender documentation for MEP systems
* Evaluate MEP subcontractor bids, including technical and commercial assessments
* Conduct post-contract cost control, including reviewing variations, progress claims, and final accounts
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues
* Provide value engineering input and life cycle costing analysis
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and financial parameters
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
* 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on MEP services (mid to senior level considered)
* Proficient in MEP measurement principles, tendering procedures, and Australian standards
* Strong knowledge of contract administration, particularly AS forms of contract
* Skilled in CostX, Excel, and other quantity surveying software
* Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen
* MRICS, AIQS or working towards professional accreditation (highly regarded)
