RoleAboriginal Language Teacher in the Rehabilitation and Reintegration team, you'll make a positive impact by:Facilitating language experiences in a culturally sensitive way to enhance the well-being of students.Delivering scheduled training and education in accordance with the prison's core day.Designing, planning, delivering, and evaluating education programs for prisoners.Managing the administrative functions and requirements of the role in a timely and accurate manner.Actively participating in operational meetings, including Education and RTO meetings.Developing, updating, and managing student education resources within relevant security requirements of the center.
What you'll bringTo be successful in this role you'll have:Experience in teaching language to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, enhancing their well-being.Strong ability to use Microsoft Office, Email, Word, and other student data systems.A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team and the wider organization.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with varied stakeholders.A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.The ability to meet and exceed quality standards in a secure environment.
