Qualifications
· Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related fields (e.g., Diploma of Accounting, or a Bachelor's in Commerce).
Experience
· 2–3+ years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
· Prior work in healthcare, aged care, or NDIS environments is highly valued — understanding funding models (like Medicare, My Aged Care, NDIS claims) is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage accounts payable and receivable
· Perform bank reconciliations
· Maintain the general ledger
· Prepare and lodge BAS and PAYG reports
· Process payroll and manage superannuation
· Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and audit prep
· Reconcile funding streams (NDIS, aged care, state/federal grants)
· Ensure compliance with financial controls and community health funding requirements

Skills and Knowledge
· Proficiency in Xero
· Strong Excel and general MS Office skills
· Familiarity with NDIS Pricing, Aged Care subsidies, and other health-related healthcare billing frameworks
· Basic understanding of procurement and managing service provider invoices
· Knowledge of accounting standards and internal audit controls

· Ability to work autonomously in a resource-limited remote setting
· Strong communication skills, dealing with clinical and admin teams
