Cancer Treatment Specialist
Overview
This role involves delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. As a skilled healthcare professional, you will be responsible for personally undertaking radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
* Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant centre and across the practice.
* Be responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
* Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrate technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
* Have experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System.
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
* Exhibit strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Have strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
* Hold a Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
* Be registered as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
