Public Engagement Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Public Engagement Specialist to establish and maintain strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, government agencies, media, and industry partners across Western Australia and Queensland.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement community outreach plans aligned with operational and business goals.
* Foster and sustain effective relationships with local communities, Traditional Owners, government entities, and local organisations.
* Represent the organisation at community gatherings, events, and consultation sessions.
* Sponsor and manage donations programs and support the Donations Committee.
* Design communication strategies, press releases, newsletters, social media content, and internal materials.
* Assist in government and external relations, including briefings and submissions.
* Lead, mentor, and guide two direct reports in fostering a collaborative and community-focused team culture.
