Business Development and Account Manager (SEQ & CQ)
$80,000 – $120,000 PA depending on experience
Complete Belting Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian conveyor and asset maintenance management company that manufactures and supplies products and technical services to industrial, quarry and mine sites across Australia.
We currently have an opportunity for an ambitious business development professional to join us as a Business Development and Account Manager servicing the SEQ and CQ territories.
The key purposeofthis role isto support the growth of our operations by prospecting potential product and service sale business, meeting customers, as well as undertake the account management of new and existing customers.
Specifically, you will:
Ensure that customer management and service delivery is timely, smooth and efficient - complete customer satisfaction
Ensure that customer enquiries are responded to in a timely manner
Market the CBS brand and work to gain as much exposure in the region as possible
Follow up leads quickly and efficiently
Ensure that maximum gross profits are obtained for CBS
You will also be expected to attend networking events and trade shows as required.

The successful applicant will have a strong focus on customer service, strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills are essential for this role.
Experience within theconveyor industry is not essential, and you will be provided with full product and service knowledge training.
Remuneration and packaging will depend on experience.
This opportunity will see you:
Actively conduct business development activities, including meeting with prospective customers and management of current customer accounts
Develop and manage leads and territories
Respond to new business and product enquiries (via face-to-face, website and email platforms), prepare quotations, etc
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients via email, phone and face-to-face and ensure complete customer satisfaction
Provide CBS customers with technical and product expertise
Work closely with the service department to ensure the provision of quality service that meets customer expectations and requirements
Work closely with the product management team to ensure that customer orders are processed in a timely manner
Plan and achieve revenue targets and hit specific activity benchmarks
Assist in the development and marketing of ongoing product offerings and pricing positions
Maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge and market intelligence to maximise opportunities to support and grow sales
Maintain sales pipelines and present regular reports to management
Attend networking and trade events
Suitable applicants will possess the following qualities:
Demonstrated customer service experience - B2B would be an advantage but is not essential
Highly competitive, positive and results driven
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and colleagues
Well presented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel - this role will require the successful applicant to be on the road the majority of the time, including overnight stays
Excellent organisational and time management skills, the capacity to multi-task, as well as initiative, drive and self-motivation
Ability to handle and work under pressure
Mid-level experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
