Established Hand Surgery Practice
We are looking for a full time medical administrator; working onsite 4-5 days. We are a specialist medical practice with primary office located in Kogarah and satellite clinics in Potts Point and Bondi Junction. We are a friendly, supportive and professional team consisting of 2 existing medical secretaries and 2 surgeons. The position requires reception, accounts, and practice management skills.
Qualifications & Experience
* Specialist medical practice administration qualification / experience
* Prefer prior experience in surgery practice
* Invoicing, accounts receivable and debt collection experience
* Customer service experience
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills essential
* Australian residency required
* Medical practice software experience (Genie) helpful
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Share all administrative duties with existing medical secretaries
* Invoicing, Medicare and health fund liaison and account management
* Appointment bookings and management
* Managing operating theatre lists, including liaising with Public and Private Hospitals
* Office inventory and supplies
* The position is not suited for a 'work from home' option
