North West HHS Alcohol and Other Drugs Service are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Consultation Liaison to cover the following vacancy in Mount Isa. Alcohol and Other Drugs Service – 5-day service – operating 8am to 4:30pm • 1 CNC – ASAP to 28 September 2025 (possibility of extension) • Preferred applicants will have Queensland Health and CIMHA experience • Licenced to drive a Queensland ‘C’ class motor vehicle • The ideal candidate will be: o Experienced in drug and alcohol nursing, from intake assessment through to treatment evaluation o Skilled in brief intervention techniques and evidence-based treatment planning o Competent in specialist psycho-social assessments and outcome monitoring o Experienced managing clients with dual diagnosis or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders o Able to support consumers and families with complex needs within a multidisciplinary team Please complete the form below and attach your CV.
