An established global renewable energy technology provider is seeking a Tender Officer to support the preparation and coordination of competitive tenders for large-scale renewable energy projects. This role plays a critical part in securing utility-scale projects by coordinating technical, commercial, and contractual inputs across internal teams and external stakeholders. The position is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, an understanding of utility-scale energy projects, and experience working in structured tender environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end tender submissions for utility-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal governance.
* Prepare and manage tender documentation, including technical schedules, commercial responses, and supporting clarifications.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders across engineering, commercial, legal, procurement, and project delivery teams to gather and align tender inputs.
* Manage tender timelines, approvals, and submission processes to ensure deadlines are met.
* Support bid pricing, scope definition, and risk identification in collaboration with commercial and technical teams.
* Maintain tender registers, document control systems, and bid records.
* Assist with post-submission clarifications, negotiations, and contract handover to delivery teams.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of tender processes, templates, and tools.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in tender coordination, bid management, or proposal support within energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
* Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects such as solar PV, energy storage (BESS), or grid infrastructure.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently under tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and legal teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
