Lead a well-known country pub at the heart of Proserpine as Venue Manager. You'll oversee all core operations including food and beverage, gaming, and accommodation, while playing a key role in upcoming renovations to transform the venue into a regional showpiece. All this, just a short drive from Airlie Beach and the stunning Whitsundays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations and all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
* Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.
* Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
* Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.
Mandatory Qualifications:
* RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
* Approved Manager's License
* Gaming Nomination & License
* Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certification
* QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
* QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)
