You'll be the visible leader on the floor, driving service flow, team performance, and guest experience—building a venue that becomes a true community favourite.
The Role
As Venue Manager, you'll take full ownership of front-of-house operations, lead a tight-knit FOH and bar team, and elevate the guest experience every service. You'll keep standards sharp, energy high, and operations smooth—while developing people and building a culture that sticks.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor FOH & bar staff; set the tone on the floor every service
* Manage rosters, floor plan, customer flow, and service standards
* Handle reservations, walk-ins, and guest recovery with confidence
* Respond to events and group booking enquiries; coordinate execution
* Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships (FOH/bar)
* Support bar operations and contribute to drink service standards
* Work closely with kitchen leadership on specials, pacing, and upselling
* Recruit, onboard, train, and retain a high-performing team
* Report to the Owner, with clear scope to grow into a broader role as the group expands
About You
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager in a busy, service-led venue
* Strong people leadership: coaching, accountability, and calm decision-making
* Hands-on and floor-led — you don't manage from the office
* High energy, solutions-focused, and naturally guest-first
* Confident with POS and admin basics
* Tequila/margarita product knowledge is a bonus (not essential)
* Solid record of reliability, stability, and strong references
