About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Cost Evaluation Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on complex and impactful projects that shape the future of Defence in Australia.
This role involves overseeing financial aspects of tender evaluations, engaging with respondents, and clarifying cost-related submissions. You will also be responsible for developing finance tender evaluation working group reports and contributing to source evaluation report processes.
As part of this role, you will conduct financial modelling, assess funding strategies, and present costed options for capability trade-off decisions. Additionally, you will provide briefings to senior leadership and support executive decision-making on financial matters.
You will lead commercial finance activities, including pricing RFQs, contract artefacts, and execution planning. Your work will involve collaboration with key Defence entities, including Defence Digital Group, National Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, and branches across the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tender Financial Assessment: Oversee financial aspects of tender evaluations and engage with respondents.
* Reporting & Documentation: Develop finance tender evaluation working group reports and contribute to source evaluation report processes.
* Strategic Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modelling, assess funding strategies, and present costed options for capability trade-off decisions.
* Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide briefings to senior leadership and support executive decision-making on financial matters.
* Project Finance Support: Lead commercial finance activities, including pricing RFQs, contract artefacts, and execution planning.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. You must be an Australian citizen with a minimum NV2 security clearance. Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be necessary.
