Duncraig Dental Care is a modern, technology-driven dental practice located in Duncraig, Perth. Our practice focuses on high-quality dentistry including dental implants, surgical procedures, cosmetic dentistry and clear aligner treatments.
Our brand-new clinic is equipped with advanced digital technology and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for an experienced Senior Dental Assistant who is passionate about dentistry and ready to take on a leadership role within our growing team.
The Role
This is a full-time position where you will play an important role in both clinical assisting and team leadership.
You will work closely with the dentist to assist with a range of advanced procedures and help maintain high clinical and infection control standards throughout the practice.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Dental implants and surgical procedures
* Surgical extractions
* Cosmetic dentistry and veneers
* Clear aligner / orthodontic treatments
* Digital scanning workflows
* Infection control and sterilisation protocols
* Preparation and turnover of treatment rooms
Leadership Responsibilities
* Support and mentor junior dental assistants
* Maintain infection control standards
* Assist with stock control and ordering
* Ensure surgery rooms are prepared efficiently for procedures
* Help coordinate lab work and clinical workflow
What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
* Implant and surgical assisting experience
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
* Experience with Dental4Windows (preferred)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* A patient-focused and professional approach
* Leadership qualities and the ability to support team members
* Experience assisting with digital workflows is highly desirable.
