The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our fleet maintenance team as a Wash Bay Attendant / Trade Assistant. You'll gain hands-on experience in vehicle care and maintenance support while working in a fast-moving environment that values reliability, safety, and teamwork. It's an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in transport or mechanical trades.
Your success profile
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
* Able to safely undertake manual tasks that may involve lifting loads, 20kg plus
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work well within a team
* Valid Driver's license
Responsibilities
* Ensure vehicles are cleaned to company standards
* Inspect vehicles for damage, and report any issues to the maintenance team
* Assist the maintenance team with various tasks including moving parts and tools
* Support routine inspections and daily operational checks
* Assist in inventory management and stocking of parts and tools required for repairs
* Help with general labour duties, including cleaning and prepping vehicles for repairs
