The role involves assessing detection and prevention solutions against chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals using spectroscopic methods such as fluorescence properties, molecular-based sensors, and vibrational spectroscopy techniques.
* Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) for sensitive detection of highly toxic chemicals;
* Techincal evaluation using alternate light sources;
