Role Purpose
The Technical Training Coordinator takes ownership of technical training delivery for KGS electronic security solutions across the ANZ region. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering training sessions, with a growing emphasis on the development of scalable online and self‐paced training content.
The position operates within a defined framework and with support from Product, Engineering, and senior technical stakeholders. It focuses on hands‐on training ownership and modern learning delivery (virtual, on‐demand, blended), rather than formal product documentation, and is designed to develop into a senior technical enablement role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Training Ownership & Delivery
* Own the end‐to‐end delivery of technical training sessions (in‐person, virtual, and hybrid) for internal teams and external partners.
* Plan training schedules, agendas, and session structures in line with product release and business needs.
* Deliver confident, professional live training sessions and interactive labs appropriate to audience skill levels.
* Continuously improve training effectiveness based on feedback, engagement, and observed outcomes.
Online & Digital Training Content
* Develop and maintain online training content such as recorded sessions, short explainer videos, guided demos, and self‐paced modules.
* Adapt live training material into reusable digital content for onboarding and partner enablement.
* Support the organisation and curation of training content within learning platforms or internal knowledge systems.
Training Content Management
* Maintain and update existing training materials such as slide decks, lab guides, and onboarding resources.
* Adapt training content for different audiences (sales, support, partners, new starters).
* Create session‐specific learning aids and lightweight training resources (non‐formal documentation).
Stakeholder & Business Support
* Act as the primary point of contact for technical training enquiries.
* Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Support to ensure training relevance and accuracy.
* Provide internal training to relevant stakeholders when required.
Training Environments & Assets
* Own readiness of training and demo environments used for delivery.
* Support setup and configuration of demonstration systems and training labs.
* Track training attendance, completion, and feedback metrics.
* Consistent, high‐quality delivery of live and online technical training
* Growing library of effective online and self‐paced training content
* Up‐to‐date and usable training materials
* Positive training feedback from internal and external audiences
* Reliable execution of training schedules and sessions
Skills & Experience
* Strong interest in technology and technical systems
* Confidence presenting, recording, and communicating to groups
* Willingness and ability to learn complex technical concepts
* Good planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
* Ability to take ownership and accountability for outcomes
* Early‐career experience in training, technical support engineering, or customer‐facing technical roles
* Exposure to online learning tools, video creation, or virtual training delivery
* Exposure to system‐based or software‐driven products
* Qualifications or studies in IT, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
