The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, commercially robust cost estimates across a diverse range of service and project works. This role plays a key part in supporting service and repair quotations, tender submissions, pricing strategies, and overall business growth by delivering competitive, compliant estimates aligned with company objectives.

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire services, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and site reports to determine project requirements
• Accurately calculate labour, materials, subcontractor, and equipment costs
• Support the preparation and submission of tenders and pricing proposals
• Liaise with technicians, operations teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify scope, assumptions, and pricing inputs
• Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date estimating records within internal systems
• Ensure all estimates align with margin targets and commercial frameworks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and methodologies

• Proven experience in estimating within fire services, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or broader building services/construction environments
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and service scopes
• Solid understanding of labour, material, and project costing structures
• High level of numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications (desirable)
