Ferndale Foods is one of Australia's most innovative privately owned food manufacturers, built by founderBruce Edward and led in recent years byLeigh Edward, who will now be stepping aside and supporting the incoming CEO through a structured transition and the next phase of growth. The business has scaled into a multi‑site, multi‑division operation with household brands includingJILA, JOLS, Licorette, So Soft, and a rapidly expanding bar business underFoodLine Australia. With significant new manufacturing capacity now online, the company is on track to double sales over the next 18 months.

The Role
As CEO, you'll drive Ferndale's next phase of growth by setting and executing the commercial strategy across brands, private label and co‑manufacture, while lifting operational performance across three manufacturing sites. You'll sharpen commercial outcomes through stronger retailer partnerships, improved margin management and disciplined capital allocation, and lead a committed workforce by building capability, accountability and a high‑performance culture. You'll also manage key external stakeholders — including the Founder, potential advisory board, and major customers — ensuring the business scales sustainably and delivers against its revenue, EBITDA and cashflow goals.
