What’s Involved Produce accurate information and documentation, which meets all procedural and auditable requirements Ensure vessel design complies with relevant regulatory authorities, specifications and customer requirements Manage design input from third parties such as drawings, certification and manuals Selection and requisitions for Electrical power and control, automation, components and devices etc Preparation of design and drawings including calculations and schematics Design of power generation, distribution, control, lighting and power arrangement, automation, emergency shutdown system, navigation and communication systems Design support for production, commissioning and delivery You’ll Need Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics) or equivalent A solid understanding of LV & ELV Power generation and distribution. A solid understanding of electrical engineering calculations e.g Short Circuit, Battery calcs Advanced AutoCAD skills Solid understanding of Production methods and the practical application of design >3 years relevant experience.
