Key Responsibilities
As an HSE Co-ordinator, you will:
Provide hands‐on HSE guidance and coaching across sites/operations
Build strong working relationships with frontline teams and leaders
Support hazard identification, risk assessments and safe work planning
Lead incident investigations and drive meaningful corrective actions
Assist with audits, inspections and legislative compliance
Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes
Promote a positive, proactive safety culture—not a policing approach
What We're Looking For
You are a capable, approachable safety professional with strong communication skills and the confidence to influence at all levels.
Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with unrestricted work rights.
Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent)
Solid experience in a field‐based HSE Co-ordinator role
Minimum 1-2 years of field‐based HSE Co-ordinator experience is required
Practical knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills
Ability to engage and influence operational teams
Experience in workshop and manufacturing environments
Lead Auditor or ICAM qualification
AIHS membership or working towards it
