Location - Various Remote locations (Queensland)
Contract type - Casual
About the role:
The Seed Collector supports natural resource management outcomes by collecting, handling, and recording native seed to support conservation and revegetation projects. The position may require travel and overnight work in remote regions.

About you
* You are experienced in bush regeneration, horticulture, revegetation, and landscaping.
* You are knowledgeable or willing to obtain knowledge of best practice ethical seed collection techniques.
* You are knowledgeable of native and local plant species.
* You are experienced in working remote sites.
* You are professional in your communication with all stakeholders.
* You are able to work independently and also as part of a team.
* You are a clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* You are comfortable using Windows and basic computer programs.
* You are aware of risk management and apply safety practices.
* You are trained in using tools and machinery safely and effectively.
* You are a team player who shares the values of Workways Australia
Qualifications
Mandatory
* Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent Qualifications
Preferred
* Current First Aid certificate
* Current Chemical Users certificate Licences and Checks
