Role Summary
As PR & Communications Manager, you'll lead the development, execution, and evaluation of the internal and external comms strategy for a purpose-driven organisation.
You'll shape messaging that builds brand equity, deepens internal connection, and inspires external audiences, working closely with the CEO and Marketing team.
This role is perfect for a confident, proactive communicator who can shift between high-level strategy and hands-on content creation.
You'll engage directly with teams across Australia to uncover authentic, human-centred stories that reflect the positive change the organisation delivers every day.
It's a 12-month contract with a good chance of extending or becoming permanent.
Hybrid working (3 days in the office) in Chatswood, offering $120k + Super.
Location: Lower North Shore – SYD
Key Responsibilities
Managing media relations, PR campaigns, and thought leadership opportunities
Writing compelling, human-centred content that tells the story of their impact
Leading a cohesive internal communications strategy to engage and align teams
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support culture, engagement, and brand building
Supporting internal events, executive messaging, media requests, and crisis comms
Measuring and evaluating communication effectiveness to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or similar
In-depth experience in PR, Journalism or Communications (agency or in-house)
Strong writing, editorial planning and stakeholder engagement skills
Confidence working with media, internal stakeholders, and executive leaders
Demonstrated Crisis / Issues Management experience
A strategic mindset paired with hands-on delivery skills
Experience with digital comms, media monitoring tools, and internal platforms
Passion for purpose-led work and a collaborative team spirit
