Are you a dynamic and experienced leader looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the engineering industry? We are seeking a highly qualified General Manager to join our reputable engineering company and lead our talented team towards continued success and growth.
**Your Responsibilities;**
- Execute the strategic plan of the organisation and provide strategic direction and overall management of the company
- Review and enhance business plans and strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial performance and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, utilisation, cash flow and the cost base for the organisation.
- Continue a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Be involved in the design, development, approval and monitoring of client proposals.
- Assign approved projects in conjunction with the engineering management teams.
- Be integral in the process of recruiting, onboarding, and training high-performing employees to achieve objectives for revenue and utilization targets.
- Review and maintain employee performance and development process.
- Review project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively and within agreed timeframes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices and standards.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology tools.
