What the Role Offers You
This is your opportunity to manage and service a portfolio of SME clients with the support of administrative resources - freeing you up to focus on what you do best: delivering exceptional service, building long-term relationships, and helping clients protect what matters most.
In this role, you will:
* Manage a diverse range of insurance needs, including SME Package, Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Retail.
* Provide exceptional customer service, predominantly via phone and email, with professionalism and accuracy.
* Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients.
* Maintain high compliance standards and attention to detail.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with confidence.
This is a high-volume role, requiring strong attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to balance competing priorities. You'll report directly to the team leader, and have exposure to the Branch Manager and other senior brokers to assist with your development, whilst playing an important role in the growth of the Shepparton branch.
What You Bring to the Team
We're looking for a motivated professional with a proven track record in broking and a passion for client success.
You'll have:
* SME insurance experience preferred, but not essential – if you have strong customer service or administrative experience in a professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.
* Experience in commercial insurance broking or transferable skills from client/portfolio management, law, banking/financial services, or mortgage/finance broking will be highly regarded.
* A strong customer service focus, comfortable managing relationships by phone and email.
* Tier 1 or Diploma qualifications in Insurance Broking are ideal – however, training and qualifications will be provided as required, with completion obligatory for this level.
* A proactive, self-driven attitude and commitment to delivering real value to clients.
