Role Overview
As the Roving Care Manager, your responsibilities will expand across clinical governance, staff management, change management, AN-ACC and resident care. Your portfolio will cover the homes for our Far North Region.
Duties
* Commitment to ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all residents
* Knowledge of the aged care sector and standards
* Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement
* Developing, monitoring and implementing nurse care plans, and assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans
* Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
* Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures
* Actively supervising, training and mentoring all RNs and PCWs
Qualifications
* Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
* Experience within the Aged Care Sector as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
* Infection Prevention and Control Qualification (desirable)
* Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACC
* Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, developing yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of your site
* Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.)
