The work that Boeing does contributes to aviation and aerospace products, technologies and services that make a difference in the lives of people around the world.We are seeking a Payroll Officer to support our centralised payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft.This role is based in Brisbane.Responsibilities:Running end to end payroll, for 3,500+ across 6 entitiesAction payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changesRun fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFTAdminister setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile paymentsReconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthlyKnowledge of relevant legislationProactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processesExperience/QualificationsExperience in payroll desirable, but not essentialExperience in processing end to end pay, desirableExperience in Aurion or PeopleSoft, desirableExperience with EOFY payroll process, desirableStrong attention to detail, problem solving, strive for results and process improvementStrong excel skillsAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentAbout UsBoeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
