Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Centre Manager to lead our Helidon site in Toowomba.
About the Role:
* Cultivate a safety-first culture, ensuring all manufacturing activities adhere to the highest safety standards.
* Oversee and optimize manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and production targets are met.
* Lead the development of the onsite team of 150+, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
* Drive initiatives for operational efficiency and sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Safety Leadership: Proven ability to prioritize and champion a safety culture, adhering to protocols and standards.
* Operational Excellence: Strong background in managing manufacturing, process optimization, and meeting production goals.
* Leadership and Team Management: 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally within chemical manufacturing.
* Regulatory Compliance: Profound knowledge of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, with a track record of ensuring compliance.
* Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience driving operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to the long-term strategic plan and execute it effectively.
* Community Engagement & Sustainability: Proficient in community engagement and corporate social responsibility, dedicated to integrating sustainability principles into operations.
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry; a master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
