Whilst being in operation for over 40 years, our client is a family owned, global company that supports with the entire process of freight movement on a national and international basis. Our client takes pride in their supportive, flexible and fun work culture and is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their quickly growing team.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Logistics Coordinator holds the responsibility to the end-to-end service of freight movement by supporting with imports, exports and providing exceptional customer service by liaising with customers and vendors whilst contributing to the implementation of continuous improvement.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- End to end management of import/export
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Coordination of deliveries
- Management and preparation of shipping documentation
- Tracking of orders
- Liaising with customers and vendors to ensure that orders are correct and received on time
- Planning of shipments
- Maintain and update records of orders, suppliers and customers
- Conduct SAP entry: Customer Service, Logistics, Inventory Control etc
- Project management
- General administration and data entry
- Customer service
- Organisation of all national and international freight

**ESSENTIAL**:
- Sound computer skills, Office 365, Transport Management Systems
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes
- Exposure and knowledge within Supply Chain
- Customer service experience
**HIGHLY DESIRABLE**:
- A tertiary qualification in a related field
- Experience within analysis and reporting
- Continuous improvement programme training and experience
