Motorcycle Delivery Driver
About the Role
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our motorcycle delivery team as a Postie based out of our Wollongong Delivery Centre. As a key member of our trusted business, you will operate and deliver on our Motorcycle, connecting Australians every day.
As part of this exciting role, you will begin your day early in the morning by sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility. You will be required to complete your own daily vehicle safety check before loading your vehicle with deliveries for the day. With extensive experience of riding a geared motorcycle, you will confidently navigate all types of weather conditions to deliver to homes and businesses.
* You hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence and ride a geared motorcycle regularly and confidently.
* On employment, you will need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessment.
* Flexibility is essential, particularly in finishing times and working additional hours if required.
* Strong memory, great hand-eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail are necessary when sorting mail.
* Enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors, with an ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.
* Meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet).
* Be open to transitioning to be trained and deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements change.
