About Support Workers
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers in Children Services. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities and young people to achieve their goals.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people, assisting with personal care, mobility, and skill development. You will also build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans and advocate for customer rights and promote independence.
Your Key Responsibilities

* Support community participation and recreational activities
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
* Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
Your Qualifications
* A strong passion for creating positive change
* Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid, CPR, Driver's licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain
* Availability for shifts that may include weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, active nights and rostered days off
