About the role
They are seeking a Graphic Designer / Artwork Coordinator to join their collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, coordination and delivery of conceptual and print-ready artwork, ensuring key visuals are production-ready across print and digital display formats. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and to specification.
This is a 12-month maternity leave contract, with strong potential to convert to a permanent role due to continued growth and business success.
Duties
* Create high-quality, print-ready artwork
* Pre-flight files for internal and external printing
* Coordinate artwork delivery between design agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Provide technical guidance and feedback to ensure optimal production outcomes
* Attend client meetings and relay requirements to the Account Manager
* Partner with the Account Manager to ensure all client expectations are met or exceeded
* Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Troubleshoot issues as they arise to achieve positive, win-win outcomes
* Contribute ideas to improve efficiencies, cost savings and productivity
* Generate artwork estimates using PRISM software and manage online artwork WIPs
Skills & experience
* Previous experience in a print environment or creative/design agency (essential)
* Proven experience as a Finished Artist
* Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple briefs
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A flexible, positive attitude — you enjoy collaboration and having fun at work
