Job Description
Civil engineers play a pivotal role in designing, constructing and maintaining water infrastructure projects. As a civil engineer, you will work on various projects including water supply and sewerage schemes with key authorities in New South Wales.
* Plan, coordinate and execute specific projects to deliver agreed outputs within set timelines, budgets and quality standards.
* Manage and assist in civil engineering design, design management and project management from planning to construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure.
* Perform diverse and complex water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks.
* Engage in conceptual, preliminary and detailed design through produce engineering calculations, sketches, electronic models, diagrams and other visual formats.
About the Role
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent qualification. Chartership or working towards is highly valued. Four years' professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry is required for a Civil Engineer, while six years' experience is needed for a Senior Civil Engineer.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
