About The Roles
We have commenced an open pit mining contract in the Murchison region, and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
About You
You will bring prior Supervisory level experience to the role, overseeing low hours, 8 piece mining fleet including:
* Komatsu PC1250 Excavator
* CAT 777E Dump Trucks
* CAT D9T Dozer
* CAT 16M Grader
* Komatsu 40tn Watercart
* Volvo IT Loader
This is a hands on workshop role working with a back to back on an 8&6 Thursday - Thursday roster.
Key responsibility is the management of a small team of 2 Fitters and 1 Servicepersons on shift, plus overseeing additional contractors rotating in and out such as Boilermakers and Auto Electricians where required.
Your communication and people management skills will ensure you are able to develop relationships with key stakeholders, whilst ensuring accountability in regards to fleet availability.
You will bring a simple, hands on approach to managing the on site workshop, with the ability to take ownership, problem solve and 'keep the ball moving forward'.
Essential Criteria
* Current Drivers Licence
* Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification
* Relevant Diesel/Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualifications
* Prior experience in Workshop Supervisory level roles
* High level communication skillsWell developed computer skills
* Experience with GPS systems
* Able to obtain Police Clearance for site access
Roles are offered on a day shift only on an even time roster FIFO from Perth, or daily Drive in to camp from Geraldton/Mid West region.
These are permanent, fulltime roles from day 1, and the opportunity to provide leadership and expertise, ensuring fleet availability and our adherence to the 4 year contract.
Salary of $200,000 + superannuation and 5 weeks leave, with wages paid fortnightly.
Camp facilities on site include ensuited rooms, Telstra phone coverage, gym and wifi.
