The Opportunity
CSR is looking for an experienced Supply / Production Planner to join our team in North Ryde, focusing on production planning, capacity optimisation, and supply scenario modelling. The role ensures service levels while balancing cost, capacity, and inventory performance across the supply chain.
As a key member of the Supply Chain function, you will develop and manage production and capacity plans, aligning with demand forecasts and inventory targets. You'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimise production schedules, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage production and capacity plans aligned to demand forecasts
* Identify and mitigate risks across supply plans (materials, capacity, external factors)
* Model alternative supply scenarios to assess service and cost impacts
* Optimise production rates, cycles, and planning parameters
* Support IBP/S&OP processes, including preparation of monetised supply plans
* Collaborate with site teams, planners, and schedulers to resolve supply issues
* Manage inventory planning and replenishment by exception
* Review planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, capacity constraints)
* Develop supplier forecasts and buying plansDrive improved supplier performance and inbound efficiency
About You
* 5+ years' experience in supply chain or production planning
* Strong experience in production planning and inventory management principles
* Advanced analytical and numerical skills, including statistical analysis
* Experience with planning systems and large data sets
* Exposure to S&OP/IBP processes
* Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
* Highly organised, detail‐oriented, and deadline driven
