Brunel is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to oversee safety protocols, hazardous materials, and audits. As part of this critical role, you will be responsible for managing compliance with our company's health, safety, and environmental management systems.
* Ensure effective implementation of safety procedures and protocols
* Monitor and oversee the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials such as radiation, explosives, and chemicals
* Contribute to the development of HSE aspects in tenders and audits
* Participate in incident investigations and emergency response coordination
* Carry out regular field audits and facility inspections to identify areas for improvement
* Develop and enhance safety procedures and risk assessments
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety practices
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, experience in incident investigation, a Certificate IV in Work Health Safety, and strong expertise in HSE advisory roles.
A deep understanding of Australian HSE legislation is essential for ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
