The Company & Role:
Our client is known for delivering beautiful luxury homes to approximately $5M+ within Melbourne's most sought-after suburbs. With invested management, industry-leading staff tenure and a dynamic culture, they have enjoyed year-on-year growth and sustained success. With an excellent pipeline of work ahead, they now require a proven architecural Draftsperson to come onboard, working collaboratively within their drafting team and alongside their respected architecural firm partner.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing Architects concept drawings + preparation of full working drawings
- Using CAD for Town Planning applications, Contract & Construction drawings.
- Assessing of architect proposals against Rescode, Planning controls & Building Regs
- Liaising with consultants (Building Surveyors, Planners & Sales teams)
- Ensuring quality checks are completed at each stage
- Communicating with the Architects/Project Management team to resolve queries
- Communicating with site managers during construction to resolve on-site issues
What you'll require:
- Experience drawing custom home projects ($2M+)
- 4-5+ years' relevant experience (with suitable combination of design quals & folio work)
- Detailed knowledge of Rescode and BCA requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a solution focus
- Ability to work individually and within a team.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights + local project work
