Summary of Role:
Are you someone who would love to contribute to shaping the way ACT Government designs its services to meet the needs of the community? Would you like to get hands-on with a program of work that is transforming government's services?
The ACT Digital Program is spearheading the development of community-centred digital services. This means Government services that are designed, developed, and tested with the community in mind, and services that are truly digital but leave no one behind.
A typical day will include:
Communicating and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
Developing and presenting service design artefacts.
Participating in project stand-ups and meetings.
We are looking for someone to:
Plan and facilitate service design activities that are engaging and show the value of design.
Work collaboratively and closely with delivery teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
Undertake user research including with the community and non-government entities.
Contribute to processes that transform both the community/business service experience and those within government.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Qualifications in related fields and/or experience in service design and working within a dynamic service delivery context is highly desirable.
This position is based in the ACT. Interstate work arrangements may be considered in line with governing policies.
Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
