The role will vary depending on experience and competencies. Internal & external training and coaching will be provided. This is a hands-on role involving performing tests, supervising staff, with a strong focus on efficiency and quality.You will be responsible for:Performing laboratory tests in accordance with standardsTraining and supervising techniciansChecking and testing the accuracy of equipment and commissioning new equipmentRegular inspection and calibration of test equipmentChecking and approving test reportsProgramming testing in consultation with the Laboratory ManagerEnsuring safety procedures are followedMaintaining laboratory efficiencyManaging the laboratory in the absence of the Laboratory ManagerAbout youWe seek a team player with effective communication skills, initiative, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
