What You'll Be Doing
* Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Haematology services for optimal patient outcomes across multiple Network hospitals including Inpatient Services, Outpatient Clinics, Oncall and Consultancy as applicable.
* Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.

Where you'll be working
The Northern NSW Local Health District covers a large area in north‑eastern NSW extending from Tweed Heads in the north to Tabulam and Urbenville in the west and to Nymboida and Grafton in the South. NNSWLHD provides a diverse range of public healthcare through 12 hospitals and multi‑purpose services, 21 community health centres and other facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, your primary work location and a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed‑Byron region also including Murwillumbah District and Byron Central Hospitals. Tweed Valley Hospital opened on 14 May 2024.

* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Haematologist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Haematology at the role delineation of the service.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
* Availability to participate in an on‑call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
