Warehouse Officer – Large Utilities Organisation
- Up to $45 p/h + super
- Somersby Location (onsite role)
- 6 month contract with extensions
Primary Purpose of the Role
Support daily warehouse and logistics operations through accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials. Ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across inventory control, materials handling, and stock management processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Operate forklifts and maintain warehouse safety standards
- Conduct stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and update records
- Use ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred) to manage stock and reporting
- Maintain housekeeping, follow safety and environmental procedures
- Work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or procurement roles
- Current Class C driver’s licence and valid forklift licence (reach licence preferred)
- Solid understanding of inventory control and warehouse systems
- Competent with Word, Excel, email, and ERP applications
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Desirable
- Qualification in Procurement or Logistics
- Experience within industrial or utilities environments
- Dogman ticket
