Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure
Join WSP Australia as a Civil Engineer in our Water Business Group's NSW Water Utilities team. You'll lead complex design projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high‐quality technical documentation.
What You'll Do
* Drive civil design development across the water project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence.
* Produce clear, high‐quality technical documentation that communicates complex concepts.
* Apply design and design management across diverse projects and program work packages.
* Collaborate with the design team to exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding results.
* Support the preparation and coordination of winning proposals and pursuits.
* Assist with project and design management for a range of water infrastructure projects.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on large‐scale infrastructure programs that shape communities.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* 2+ years' experience in a consultancy environment.
* Proven experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
* Exposure to design management for water and wastewater projects.
* Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and WSAA codes (advantageous).
* Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it (advantageous).
* Proficiency in Civil 3D modelling and 2D/3D CADD software (advantageous).
* Excellent communication skills—written and verbal—with the ability to consult effectively with clients and collaborate internally.
