About the Project:
Ventia has partnered with Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) to provide distribution, maintenance, and construction services across all QLD footprint. Our main depots are currently located in Pinkenba, Rockhampton and Townsville.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Delivery Manager will be based at our Townsville depot, overseeing QLD operations and leading a multidisciplinary infrastructure team. This role drives operational excellence through strong leadership, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited:
- Build a positive, high-performing team culture
- Mentor, train, and evaluate team members
- Control project costs and ensure financial efficiency
- Report on project progress and performance
- Allocate resources effectively across personnel, equipment, and materials
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships
- Implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
- Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Expertise in technical troubleshooting, gathering requirements, data, and producing clear reports.
- Proven experience in project management OR directly supervising and leading blue-collar workforce
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Inspirational leadership with the ability to motivate diverse teams
- Resilience under pressure and confidence managing multiple projects at once
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Flexibility to travel as required
