Technical Maintenance Support are an independently owned and operated progressive company based in Geraldton, Perth and Kalgoorlie Western Australia. We conduct a wide variety of specialised services, mostly to fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara.
The role:
As a Mobilisation Officer at Technical Maintenance Support in Geraldton, Western Australia, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategic workforce planning and mobilisation efforts. This is a maternity leave short term contract for approximately 3-6 months with flexibility to work 3 or 4 days per week. This position will see you working closely with the HR and Operations teams to ensure the organisation has the right people in the right places at the right time.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Client specific ownership of the end-to-end shutdown mobilisation process.
* Ensuring premobilisation tasks are executed in a timely manner i.e. Medicals, PPE, NPC etc
* Compiling and sending out Mob and Demob emails
* Onboarding personnel within client specific platforms – INX, Workflow, Pegasus, ENABLE, etc for securing flights and accommodation
* Allocate manning in a timely manner ensuring all Client requests are filled.
* Ensure all HR documentation and training records are maintained and accurately recorded
* Arranging logistics to and from site for employees, tooling & equipment
* Associated admin duties as required or allocated by your manager
* Conducting a hand over when required to ensure the department runs smoothly
* Attend Logistics meetings twice a week
To be considered for this position you will require:
* At least 1 year experience in a similar recruitment or resourcing role, ideally within the resources or construction sector
* Familiar with Rapid Crews – desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and multitask effectively
* Working knowledge of onboarding procedures
* Familiarity with HR information systems and recruitment tools
* A solutions-focused mindset and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
