Our Water Group in Victoria has developed many long‐term relationships in the water market, a strong pipeline of work, and has grown into a team of 100 water professionals. We have a continues focus on growth over the next five years, and as such, we are seeking a Senior or Principal Process Engineer with specific wastewater process expertise to join our Melbourne team.
The Opportunity
* Undertaking options investigations, feasibility studies and reporting on a wide range of complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids and odour treatment facilities.
* Leading project delivery and engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
* Applying experience and understanding of treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project delivery.
* Leading project teams, ensuring high‐quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner.
* Work and coordinate with a multi‐disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.
* Engaging in client‐facing activities to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
* Building and maintaining client relationships.
* Mentoring and sharing your project experience with junior engineers.
About you
* Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering, a minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry. Experience in wastewater treatment process design and modelling would be advantageous.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
* Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
* A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team.
