We are looking for a Regional Community Manager to join the Stockland Halcyon team based in Victoria. Responsible for communities in Victoria you will contribute to the success of this growing team and be responsible for the operational management of Halcyon’s communities and all associated business activities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Manage community operations in compliance with relevant Legislation, Stockland policies and processes, Master Plan Guidelines, Community Living Guidelines and Park Rules. Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, maximise sundry income and provide accurate forecasts whilst flagging risks and opportunities early. Work closely with Community Managers to manage stakeholder expectations, to understand homeowner lifestyle needs; manage conflicts within communities and mitigate issues before escalation. Monitor external party agreements and contracts to ensure best service and financial outcomes. Build meaningful relationships with external and local stakeholders (e.g. sales functions, local business etc). Manage and implement continuous improvement with respect to homeowner delight programs. Work with the Community Teams to drive initiatives creating high levels of community engagement, whilst supporting a positive and enduring relationship between homeowners and Halcyon. Assist Project Directors during new community ramp-up by providing advice, training, operational alignment and support to the Community Manager, Caretaker and homeowners, as required. Accountable for community structure from ramp up through to established community. Recruitment of initial Community Manager and community administrators and aid recruitment of initial Facility Caretaker; and undertake new employee orientation. Provide mentorship, motivation, and training to community employees. About you Qualifications/Licences Tertiary qualification/s in business management, community services or equivalent is desirable Knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be highly regarded Experience Experience in Land Lease Community, Retirement Living, Commercial/Retail Property Management or Hotel/Holiday Resort industry will be highly regarded Proven experience in developing and managing a team and in developing, managing and delivering budgets Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills Experience in project management Skills/Competencies Strong financial analysis and reporting skills Strong customer service focus, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with impact and alignment to Stockland values and culture The Stockland Proposition Stockland Halcyon is Australia’s most awarded creator of lifestyle living communities across Queensland, Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
