Our team has experience across the project lifecycle and a diverse range of infrastructure and engineering works. Your Opportunity
A global group of infrastructure specialists, we are passionate about continuous innovation, technology, engineering, performance, and efficiency. We are seeking candidates from Consultant to Director level, and we support clients across service offerings including:
- Planning, Infrastructure and Economics
- Commercial Advisory & Transactions
- Project and Program Delivery
- Engineering and Asset Management
Our Planning & Infrastructure Economics team helps plan cities and regions for now and the future by prioritising projects that address immediate and long-term requirements and generate sustainable community benefits. Our Commercial Advisory & Transactions team provides specialist commercial and financial advice, and tailored transaction management for major infrastructure projects, including business cases, feasibility studies, contract negotiations and financial analysis. Our Project and Program Delivery team partners with clients to address challenges in developing and delivering major infrastructure projects and programs of work, delivering integrated management, planning, design, and assurance advice using data-driven tools. Our Engineering and Asset Management team offers a holistic approach to managing infrastructure assets, balancing cost, risk and performance to deliver better financial and customer outcomes.

Your Experience
At KPMG, we value diversity of thought, background and experience. To be considered, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
Planning, Infrastructure and Economics
- Experience providing strategic advice, forecasting demand or shaping investment decisions in the delivery of Social Infrastructure, Transport or Energy themed projects.
- Experience in infrastructure investment planning, economic analysis, regulatory economics, feasibility planning, quantitative analysis, data science, econometrics and/or model development, demand modelling and forecasting, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, engineering, planning, mathematics, statistics, computer science, commerce, business, law, or other relevant areas.
Commercial Advisory & Transactions
- Experience delivering strategic, financial, transactional, or commercial advice in respect to major infrastructure projects, complex service procurement, strategy and/or transaction advisory across transport, social infrastructure, real estate, energy, or resources sectors.
- Professional experience in a Chartered Accounting firm, law firm, management consultancy, engineering consultancy, corporate advisory, investment bank, project finance team of a commercial bank, infrastructure fund, construction firm or Government.
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, economics, law, engineering, or similar fields.
Project and Program Delivery
- Qualifications in Engineering (civil, structural, mechanical), Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management.
- Experience in a Project Management/Controls/Risk/Planning function with cost, risk, schedule or change experiences and skills in Project Controls implementation and management.
- Knowledge of best industry practice Project Management, Project Controls and Risk/Contingency Management (e.g., PMBOK, Total Cost Management AACE, ISO 31000, RES Contingency Guideline).
Engineering and Asset Management
- Qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Reliability or Project Management.
- Experience in building asset management capabilities to optimise physical assets and realise their value.
- Exposure with different clients across sectors including defence, infrastructure, and energy.
Please note, the salary ranges $60k - $250k+ with respect to your level of experience. We are hiring for Casual, Max-Term Full-Time, Max-Term Part-Time, Permanent Full-Time & Permanent Part-Time roles.
