About the role
Hypercoat Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Epoxy Applicator to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As an Epoxy Applicator, you will be responsible for applying high-quality epoxy coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the building trades industry.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and priming as required
2. Mix and apply epoxy coatings to floors, walls, and other surfaces
3. Ensure proper curing and adherence of the epoxy coatings
4. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
6. Provide high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
7. Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and client expectations
What we're looking for
1. At least 2 years of experience as an Epoxy Applicator or similar role
2. Demonstrated expertise in the preparation and application of epoxy coatings
3. Proficient in the use of specialised equipment and tools for epoxy application
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols
