Overview
Location: Newcastle. On-site support and some short travel. 12 month contract with potential extensions.
Role
IT Level 2 Support
Compensation
$34 - $42 per hour. In office in Newcastle with occasional travel between sites in Heatherbrae and Bennett's Green.
Key accountabilities
Provide day-to-day IT support to end users across two sites
Assist the existing support technician in managing service desk requests and escalating issues as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and qualified manner
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, incidents, and resolutions
Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment
Participate in ongoing training and development under the guidance of the existing support technician
Essential requirements
Ability to travel between Heatherbrae and Bennett's Green as needed
Willingness to learn and grow into a larger support role over time
Preference given to candidates based in or near Newcastle due to commuting concerns
